    Stop by the Information Center in the main lobby on Sunday mornings to get more information or sign up for a structured class.  There are also classes every Sunday morning that you can attend at any time, you do not have to sign up.

    Word Action Adult Faith Connection, Fireside Room, 

    Teacher: Jeff Westerman

    Word Action's Adult Faith Connection provides scripturally-based Sunday School lessons in the Wesleyan-Holiness tradition. It is divided into four discussion sections: Engage Interest, Examine Life, Explore the Word, and Exercise Faith. This is the Sunday School quarterly lessons that many Nazarenes grew up with.


    Battle Plan for Prayer Bible Study, Room 106

    Teacher: David Middendorf

    The Battle Plan for Prayer Bible Study equips believers to create their own prayer strategy and be specific and intentional in prayer. This study features teaching by Alex and Stephen Kendrick on the topics of: what prayer is and is not, why God wants us to pray, specific areas of prayer, specific strategies for prayer, and more.

    Disciples Path - Track 2, Room 106

    Disciples Path is a series of resources founded on Jesus' model of discipleship. Created by experienced disciple makers across the nation, it is an intentional path of transformational discipleship. While most small-group studies facilitate transformation through relationship and information, these disciple-making resources do it through the principles of modeling, practicing, and multiplying.


    Financial Peace University, SCS Library

    Teachers: Tim Swanson and Jeff Derr, (Seasonal by reservation).

    Financial Peace University (FPU) is a biblically based curriculum teaching people how to handle money God’s way. Through videos, discussions and small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to manage your money and overcome debt issues.

    Spiritual Development, Fenster House,

    Teacher: David Middendorf

    Spiritual Development is a class to deepen your walk by learning the details and benefits of the spiritual disciplines. We will be using the book Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster to look closely at meditation, prayer, fasting, study, solitude, submission, service, confession, worship, guidance, and celebration. 


    Lifetree Café, Main Lobby,

    Lifetree Café is a time and place where people gather to hear inspiring stories and engage in conversation on a different topic every week. On film and in person, you’ll hear stories that will make you think, spice your conversation, help you make sense of the world, and inspire you. And in the fun, casual, safe environment of Lifetree Café, you may share your story, too. If you’re looking for a place where you can explore life, meet new friends, and experience God . . . then Lifetree Café is your kind of place.

    LIFE GROUPS: ALL WEEK

    Sundays

    5:00 – 6:00, Full Armor Biker Life Group, Shepherd Welcome Room, Facilitator: David Middendorf, (On-going).

    The Full Armor Biker Life Group is currently working through a Study of Ephesians 6:10-18 which is the passage that describes the Full Armor of God. We meet for an hour then head out for a dinner ride on our scoots if the weather permits, in cages otherwise. 

    Mondays

    2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Golden Girls Life Group, Clay Residence, 

    Facilitator: Martha Puffenberger, (On-going).

    The Golden Girls Life Group are all widows and any widow is welcomed. We are currently studying a Nazarene book published at Beacon Hill Press entitled A Christian Attitude Toward Attitudes.  We are a good group. We have our own song that we sing to begin each meeting.  We pray, we sing, we study, we eat, we laugh a whole lot, we share, we care and we serve.  We have snacks on the second Monday of the month and we go out to eat on the fourth Monday.

    Tuesdays

    6:45 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting, Sanctuary

    Leader: Thomas Jacob D.Min. (On-going).

    This time together will include learning how God changes lives when we set aside out own agendas, take Him at His Word, and listen for His Voice (Curriculum by Jim Cymbala).

    7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Hughes Life Group, Hughes Residence, 

    Facilitator: Ken Hughes, (On-going).

    The Hughes Life Group meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in various homes on the east side of Columbus. The study normally focuses on the Pastor’s sermons from previous weeks, going more in depth into the background and the context of the scripture and applying that to daily life. The first hour is spent in study and prayer and the second hour is for fellowship and good food. We find the bond of love in this group to be very strong, and the more often one comes, the stronger the bond.

    Wednesdays

    7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Elzey Life Group, Elzey Residence, 

    Facilitator: Tim Swanson, (On-going).

    The Elzey Life Group meeting time and dates change based on when everyone can meet.  Usually Wednesday but now on Tuesday as Tim is teaching the Financial Peace series. We are currently studying Is Holiness Really Possible. The meeting start either at 7:00 if we have snacks or 6:00 if we have a meal.  Some meetings have lasted till 9:30.

    Thursdays

    6:30 p.m., Outdoor Life Group, Blendon Woods Metro Park, Facilitator: David Middendorf, (On-going).

    The Outdoor Life Group is a group for people who love doing outdoor activities primarily in the areas of camping, hiking, and backpacking. We study the Word, talk about our passion for being outside and enjoying the challenges both physical and spiritual of backcountry adventures. We plan trips to local and not so local hiking destinations and share information about the latest equipment and techniques. 

    Fridays

    1:00 – 2:30 p.m. The Prophets and Prophesy, Cooper residence, Facilitators: Linda Cooper and Kay Gibson, (On-going). 

    The goal of The Prophets and Prophesy is to get acquainted with the prophets, learn what they prophesied, if the prophecy has been fulfilled, and which ones are yet to come.
