Ken is from Kent, Ohio where he grew up and also attended Kent State University. He later moved to Houston, TX to teach and then eventually landed in Columbus, Ohio. He has been in education for the past 22 years working as a teacher and principal with stops in Houston Independent School District, Columbus Public Schools, South-Western City Schools and Worthington Schools. He holds a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Dayton.
Ken and his wife Kristin have four children and live in Hilliard, OH. Kathryn is a senior at Hilliard Davidson, David also attends Davidson and is a sophomore. Noah attends Weaver Middle School as an 8th grader and Elizabeth is a a fifth grader at Ridgewood Elementary School. Kristin is at Ridgewood as well, where she teaches ELL students in grades K-5.
If there is a ball and someone is keeping score, Ken is probably interested! He loves to play and watch any sport. In his free time he likes to golf, bike, read on the back porch and just be dad.
