Alabaster is an international building fund of the Church of the Nazarene, funding construction projects for churches, schools and hospitals worldwide. The Alabaster offering encourages people to give financially and pray for those who will benefit from the building projects. The Alabaster offering, based on the biblical story of a woman pouring perfume on Jesus' feet, encourages sacrificial giving. Alabaster funds have made a significant worldwide impact through providing spaces for ministry.
