Phyllis was born and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia and went off to college at MVNU.  She accepted Christ when she was 6 years old and has been hooked ever since.  


Phyllis is married to a fascinating and friendly man named Larry. They both play mandolins. She has two daughters, Chaney, who plays guitar and sings,  and Tansy who plays the violin. Tansy is a Microbiology student at OSU and Chaney is married to Nick Shaner. They pastor a church in Indian Lake, Ohio.  The rest of us live in Gahanna with our three dogs, Fenster, Waidrow and Wylie.


Phyllis loves things that look original and interesting and wonderful.  She notices graphics and drawings and colors and details. She teaches art classes at Shepherd Christian School. She dabbles in fonts and photoshop, videos and cameras. She has illustrated 23 children's books.  She also loves motorcycling with Full Armor Bikers, sketching, RVing, reading, bike riding and hiking with her husband.
