In the Worship Arts ministry here at Shepherd Church, we believe that worship is our response to God as he makes Himself known to us. When we gather together, our goal is not just to sing songs, but to have a true encounter with God The Father. As a member of the Worship arts Ministry, our goal is to lead our church in a time of authentic and heartfelt worship. We believe that this isn’t just the responsibility of the person leading the song, but a calling for each of us as members of worship arts. We want to ensure that no matter what our role is, whether singing, playing a guitar, beating a drum, or holding a camera, that we are helping people take their next step toward Jesus. When we come to the Father in spirit and in truth, we can expect transformation as we experience His presence in new and life changing ways.
Here’s how you can serve
Choir - Our worship choir is the foundation of our Worship Arts vocal ministry. Our purpose is to lead the congregation in worship as we worship the Lord together! If you enjoy using your voice to bring God praise, we welcome you to join the worship choir!
Praise Singers - Praise Singers help lead worship in our services on mics. Singers must be able to sing harmony parts and have time to practice outside of rehearsals.
Band - The band raises praise by worshiping through their instruments. Instrumentalists must have the ability to read chord charts and have time to practice outside of rehearsals.

How do I join a team?
Our band and praise singers are chosen through a process that involves hearing about one’s spiritual life and musical background in addition to a vocal or instrumental audition.
